Know where every story aired.
Airtrace tells you which bulletin each story went out in, how every reporter performs, and keeps all your news agencies in a single desk. It runs on your own server, inside your own network.
Plus Agency Desk: every subscribed agency in one real-time inbox, with search across the whole archive.
No credit card. No internet needed for the trial. Windows Server + PostgreSQL.
- On-premises
- Browser-based
- Turkish and English UI

The answer is in the system. Finding it takes a day.
Nobody can say quickly whether a story made it to air, in which bulletin, or how a reporter really did this year. And the wire is a flood of feeds in different formats.
Without Airtrace
- Checking airing means opening bulletins one by one and comparing headlines.
- Reporter figures are compiled by hand in spreadsheets, if at all.
- Each agency has its own screen, folder or format.
- Finding a story from three years ago is a favour you ask someone.
With Airtrace
- One question, one answer: which bulletins did this story air in.
- Stories produced, aired, airing rate and trend per reporter and unit, always current to yesterday.
- All agencies in one inbox with one category scheme.
- Full-text search over the agency archive and years of newsroom history.
Airing and performance, answered in seconds.
Reports works from your newsroom data and refreshes itself every night.
Airing report
Pick one story and see every bulletin it aired in, following the copy chain and the same headline within plus or minus 7 days, 30 days or all time. Or run it for a whole search at once.
- Statuses: Aired, No air command, Skipped, Killed-planned
- Summary tiles, time and hour-of-day charts
- Channel and bulletin bars
- CSV export for Excel
Reporter performance
Stories produced, how many aired, airing rate and monthly average for each reporter, with the year-over-year trend, grouped by unit.
- Per reporter and per unit
- Airing rate and monthly average
- Year-over-year trend
Archive search
Search many years of historical newsroom data in one place, without touching the live system.
- Full-text over the whole archive
- Turkish-aware letter folding
- Filters and date ranges
Nightly import
Airtrace reads the nightly database dump of the newsroom system you already run and imports it automatically, so reports are at most one day behind.
- Fully automatic, no manual export
- Your live system is never queried or slowed
asset/img/Airtrace-Setup.exeasset/img/Airtrace-Setup.exeasset/img/Airtrace-Setup.exeEvery news agency, one real-time inbox.
AA, AP, DHA, IHA, Reuters and any other XML or folder-based feed, side by side, with one category scheme and one search box.
Real-time inbox
New items arrive as they are published. Filter by agency, type, category, language and region, with multi-select on every filter.
Unified categories
Each agency names its categories differently. Airtrace maps them to one scheme so a filter means the same thing everywhere.
Search the whole archive
Full-text search with Turkish-aware letter folding, "quoted phrases", OR, exclusions and date filters across everything your agencies ever sent.
Photos and videos
Pictures and video are attached to the wire item they belong to, so the story and its media stay together.
Watch lists and alerts
Keep a list of topics, names or places. Matches raise an alert, and breaking news plays a chime.
Assign to a reporter
Turn an agency story into a task. The reporter gets a notification and writes their own view.
Export to another system
Export a story as NewsML 1.2 straight into another newsroom system's ingest folder.

Everyone sees their own work. Managers see more only when you say so.
By default every staff member sees only their own stories and their own performance. Wider visibility is a deliberate grant.

No setup needed to keep reporters from seeing each other's figures.
Unit or whole organisation
Grant a manager their own unit, or the whole organisation.
Per user, group or job title
Give access to one person, to a group, or to everyone holding a job title.

Questions we get asked
How does the free trial work?
Download the installer and use the full Reports and Agency Desk for 30 days. No credit card is asked, and the trial needs no internet connection.
How does activation work offline?
After purchase you receive a license code. On any computer open the activation page, enter the code and load the .lic file into Airtrace. Once activated it needs no internet connection.
Which agencies are supported?
AA, AP, DHA, IHA and Reuters, plus other XML or folder-based feeds. Each agency you add is licensed as one Agency Desk subscription, and the content itself is covered by your own contract with that agency.
Can I connect more agencies than my license covers?
Yes. Connect as many feeds as you like: items from agencies beyond your license are still received and their headlines appear in the inbox, marked unlicensed. Opening them requires adding that agency to your license, so you can see what you are missing before you buy.
Does my data leave the building?
No. Airtrace runs on your own server on your own LAN. There is no cloud component.
Can reporters see each other's figures?
Not by default. Each person sees only their own stories and performance until you grant wider access to a user, a group or a job title.
What happens when the trial ends?
The features stop until a license is activated. Your data is kept, so nothing is lost when you activate later.
Which newsroom systems does it work with?
Airtrace imports the nightly PostgreSQL database dump of the newsroom system you already run. Contact us about other systems.
